I will not line up for the start of the 4th stage of the Tour de Romandie from Estavayer-le-Lac to Sainte-Croix today. Over the last few days, the focus has been on material tests and supporting the team.

On Friday, we were able to come out in third place in the team time trial, 16 seconds behind the Columbia-Highroad team and six seconds behind Caisse d'Epargne.

I will prepare for the Giro d'Italia, which begins on 9 May with a team time trial in Venice, with three intensive days of motorbike training sessions.

I am particularly looking forward to this first stage.

The Giro d'Italia serves in turn as preparation for the Tour de Suisse and the Tour de France. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Fabian.
